Are you a good fit?
To work with animals in this role, first and foremost takes patience. Do you have the patience of a saint? All aspects of grooming require us to be on our feet most of the day and stay very active. Dog knowledge, behavioral knowledge, 4H, equestrian or AKC background helps! Quick thinking and problem-solving is a must since each dog requires an individual approach.
The right candidate will be a team player who is interested in improving their own life, as well as the lives of our clients and the pets in our care. Continuing education is extremely important and you will be aided on your journey in whatever stage you are at.
